From a business perspective with the rapid growth of electric vehicle ownership, having a charge point at the workplace will become increasingly important as an option for employees and visitors to charge their EV vehicles.  Where businesses have an EV fleet it can be an essential operating factor adding an all-important bonus of making savings on fuel costs as well as reduced CO2 emissions.

The technology fitted within the charging units permits the employer to fully control all aspects of charging regulating and monitoring usage.

With the Government’s Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS), employers could be entitled to a grant of up to £14,000 by way of a voucher for up to 75% of the total purchase cost and installation of an EV charger.

The business, charity or public-sector organisation can receive up to £350 per socket with a maximum of 40 charge point installations.
